Please check the status of any claims/RAPs submitted to Palmetto within the last 2 weeks. Some Florida and Texas agencies have noticed issues in their submissions. All agencies, regardless of state, should check their submission to make sure there were no errors, since it is not thought to be a location-specific issue.

HB 441 - Regulation of Health Care Facilities and Services

The bill “HB 441” removes the quarterly reporting requirement for home health agencies, and the associated fines for late submittal of the report. Instead, the bill requires all home health agencies to submit the number of patients that are receiving home health services to AHCAH during the licensure renewal process.
